This option is for those who have 7.3L injectors in good overall condition and may only need cleaning, testing and/or minor repairs. Our cleaning and balancing will take your injectors through a series of flow testing and operational checks. Injectors are first visually inspected and then put into the flow bench for testing. Injectors are tested at 600 psi, 1500 psi and finally 2500 psi. Injector pulse width is varied through each test to ensure injector is fully within CC range. This series of tests will verify CC size and poppet valve operation. All solenoids are buzzed manually and electronically tested to ensure coil is functional. Injectors are also tested for internal fuel leakage leading to fuel dilution in oil.
Once testing is done, all injectors get cleaned and new external O-rings and coppers are installed. If injectors need additional parts or fail any of the above tests, then customer will be notified of additional parts cost. Injector cleaning and testing fee is $35 per injector. External Seals included. We have included an option to add on new Stock nozzles & Solenoids.
- For performance injectors, nozzles will cost extra. Call for pricing!
- This service does NOT come with a warranty.
Please fill out the injector shipment form and ship with injectors.
Please do not ship oily injectors. Clean before shipping.
High mileage injectors are generally not recommended to send in, very seldom do we see sets with 250k+ Miles passing tests and may be recommended to not use.
*If customer chooses to not fix injectors or purchase injectors through Holders Diesel, then a labor fee of $20 per injector will be charged. If customer elects to purchase injectors through Holders diesel, then the labor fee will be waived.
