The OE thermal bypass valve is designed to route bypass the transmission cooler and cold temperatures in in order to bring the transmission up to operating temperature faster.

XDPs Thermal Bypass Valve Upgrade utilizes an unrestricted straight through design, eliminating the re circulation aspect of the factory TBV.
